Registration for MITMUNC 2012 is now closed. We are at our maximum capacity and all waitlisted schools that did not make the cut will receive an email from us today. If you have any questions about your status of registration please email info at mitmunc dot org.

Some of you might be experiencing some difficulties on our website when registering delegations for MITMUNC. Our webmasters are looking into this matter right now. Meanwhile if you have problems registering your delegation please contact us to let us know.

Country assignments will be released after December 15. There are only about 2 weeks left to apply for MITMUNC! The last registration deadline is December 15. Waitlisted schools will be informed of their registration status shortly after we receive their registration fee payment.

MITMUNC will be selling lunches on the Saturday and Sunday of the conference this year. Lunch tickets cost $8 per lunch per person. They are available for order in your control panel. They need to be ordered before the conference so we can have an good estimate of how much food to order. Payment of the lunch tickets can be done through the same way as the payment of registration fees.

The complete country/committee matrix for MITMUNC 2012 has just been released. There have been some additions of countries so we encourage everyone to reconsider their country preferences. Please submit your country preferences via login. We will start making country assignments by December - schools will receive their country assignments after they have paid all the delegate fees required.

Our webmaster has discovered a bug in our website code such that schools that registered between Nov. 8 and Nov. 14 have not been receiving their MITMUNC login information. Some of you have contacted us to retrieve your passwords but some of you have not. Rest assured all of you are still in our system and our webmaster will be sending your login information to you shortly. With your login information you can use your username and password to log in and access your invoice as well as to proceed with other registration steps. Please email us if you have any questions on this. Thanks!

Any registrations from now on will be automatically put on the waitlist. Waitlisted schools are highly encouraged to send us their school registration fees ($95) as soon as possible to secure spots for their delegates. We only have a limited number of spots left. Schools that do not manage to secure spots will have their fees refunded after all delegate spots are filled.

We are setting up a wait list for schools who wished to attend but did not manage to get a place in the conference. To give everyone a fair chance we decided that we would need registered schools (that are not waitlisted) to send us your registration fees by November 1. You can choose to send in your school registration fee first ($70 per school) and send in your delegate fees later. Delegates fees can be sent in anytime before January 4 but we encourage you to do so earlier since delegations will only receive their country assignments after we receive payment. Schools that are applying for financial assistance should submit your application as soon as possible. The deadline for this is also November 1. If this change in deadline will present difficulties in any way to your school please do not hesitate to contact us

MITMUNC prides itself on keeping our chair : delegate ratios small. Due to space and staff limitations we can only have so many delegates at our conference. We are quickly reaching our capacity. After we reach that point we will enact a waitlist procedure (more details will be released if this happens). Thank you for understanding.

Countries will only be assigned after you have paid the full payment. Paying the full registration fees confirms your spots at MITMUNC so once you send in the payment we will give you your country assignments.
