The list of MITMUNC committees and the country/committee matrix will be released in mid-October once we've confirmed our chairing assignments.
Position papers should be emailed to your committee chairs. Each committee's email address is on their respective committee pages. Information about position papers are on the preparation page.
Pre-written resolutions are not allowed in committees. MITMUNC believes that delegates should work together to create solutions to problems and pre-written resolutions are not conducive to good debate.
We offer three awards at MITMUNC for position papers and performance in committee: Best delegate, Outstanding delegate, and Honorable mention. We also have a position paper award specifically for position papers.
No, we do not accept college or university students. We only accept students in secondary school. College and university students would be better off at a conference specifically for college students.
Yes, we limit the number of delegates per organization to 30. Please do not register multiple times to try and get more than 30 seats.
We require that every delegation have at least one adviser that is at least 21 years of age. We also highly recommend that each delegation bring one adviser for every five to ten students.
We prefer checks, but we can process wire transfers and credit cards. E-mail us for more information.
